Those of you with my AIM/MSN etc. may have noticed I have not been at my computer quite a bit lately. The truth is I have been having fun. No not that hardcore programming fun. Its been actual go out and hang out with friends and live a life. As crazy as it seems, it is completely true. This weekend I was on my computer maybe 3 hours from Friday (after work) -> Monday morning.
Hopefully it will continue as I love it.
I got a logo for FetchMerchant designed yesterday. It looks nice and I like it a lot. You can see it over at FetchMerchant.com
I plan on completing and launching the service sometime this year. Hopefully sooner than later. A lot of the features are under wraps and this will be the only service with an all in one feature set.
It was designed by deonya.com. This guy does some really nice work. This is the designer I am planning on having do all the FetchMerchant work.
I have decided that since I didn’t get the jobs I applied for I would start college. I went and talked to the VA lady at LakeMichiganCollege and we are working on getting the GI Bill stuff. I took there assessment exam back around 2005 and they are trying to pull up the scores for that. If they can’t find them then I will have to retake it which isn’t a big deal at all.
I have a few classes I plan on testing out of. Other than that everything is good so far. Will post more when I hear more.
Just received an email that I did not get either of the jobs I applied for. That is such a bummer. However, being 19 and no college it doesn’t really surprise me.
Better luck next time I guess.
(Note: == in a programming manner means equal to)
It looks like these guys are at it again. They were one of the first bands to make a big fuss over Napster and file sharing. This time, its douchebaggery on their part. ArsTechnica has posted some news on this. From what I read, they asked some critics to come listen to some new tracks on an album they plan on putting out. The critics then put up a review of the songs in which the Metallica management told them to take it down. So, they had some people listen to it but keep them from talking about it. Under no means are they legally obligated to remove the reviews however most (if not all) have.

Once upon a time they made good music. However lately they are a bunch of douchebags.
