Go figure, FOX stoops way low and joins the Hilliary parade. I would like to say I am surprised at a big time news outlet broadcasting this, but its FOX so I am not surprised.

Have you seen this show yet? Its awesome and it has become one of my most favorite shows. I am not sure if I like House MD or Bones better. I will call it a tie.

On Friday I bought Bones season 1 and have gotten nothing done since. I have watched 16 of the 22 episodes so far. Maybe this week I will go buy season 2. However, tomorrow is the finale for season 3 and its looking really good.

Show description from Fox.com

From executive producers Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Stephen Nathan comes the third exciting season of BONES, a darkly amusing procedural with humor, heart and character, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs.

Maybe. From the sounds of it, it has just been an error between the company and EBay. I have sent off the defective xbox 360 and am expecting the replacement early next week (UPS ground shipping). I am hoping it was just an error and everything will get sorted out.

If not, I have Paypal / Capital One on my side. I don’t want to, and I do not think I will have to but just incase they are there.

So on April 30th I won my first ebay auction. GO ME! Or so I thought. I decided I would try and save some money by buying a used Xbox 360 on EBay. Yes, this is GTA IV motivated. So I found a seller who had mostly good reviews about selling 360’s so I felt comfortable buying from him.

I received the 360 on Tuesday and it was DOA (dead on arrival). Being a techie, I know that sometimes crap like this happens, even though it was tested and was listed as 100% functional. I contact the seller who has a 30 day garauntee on the item and he has no problem in exchanging it for a working unit. I just have to send the Xbox in and he will send another one to me. I wasn’t thrilled about having to pay for shipping but whatever I just wanted a working one so I could play the damn game.

On Wednesday I send him the tracking number and UPS will pick up the package whenever they drop one off at the place I chose. On Friday (two days after providing the seller with the tracking number) I get a message from EBay saying the seller filed a dispute saying I never paid for it. WTF! I paid for it, received it and am sending part of it back because its defective. FRAUD is what it seems like. Luckily UPS hasn’t been by to pick up the package yet so I still have it.

Today I called the company but got no answer (yet). So I sent them a message saying that if they don’t send out a replacement with a tracking number or I don’t receive it by Friday I will be doing a charge back on my credit card. If they do send me a working unit I will gladly put the old one back out for UPS to pick up and ship their way. The ball is in their court. If they don’t like my offer then they can take the chargeback.

So, the interview went ok. There were two questions they asked me that I couldn’t either answer, or give a full answer. One was partly because I was so nervous and havn’t touched the OSI model in years. Yuck!

As it went on, I got more and more comfortable with talking to the people giving me the interview. We even had a few jokes and got off task a few times with talking about things (all tech related). I was told I gained some extra points by mentions “LEFT JOINS” however shortly after I was told I lost some points (jokingly) because I mentioned using Office 2008 which is a Mac product. Only to have someone back me up and say that OSX is essentially just another variation of Unix.

Hopefully I will get one of these jobs. The people there seemed like a great bunch that I would enjoy working with. Now I just have to wait roughly two months before I hear anything back. Yes it will seriously take that long.
